The Best Fettuccine from Scratch

One of my favorite meals is a good homemade alfredo. To me, I am not a fan of alfredo out of the can when it is so easy to make homemade. I highly recommend taking the time to make the sauce yourself. You will thank me later! I would not recommend making this recipe every day. It is high in fat, and it creates a very thick, creamy sauce. For those watching their figure, I do have another recipe that is low fat and a little better for you. But, on those days that you want to go all out, this is a great recipe to try!

This recipe is very easy and quick to make! It is a convenient dinner recipe to have on hand if you have all of the ingredients. It comes from one of our families great friend who lives in Virginia, Monica. She is such a sweet lady and we love sharing recipes with her. It is a crowd favorite, great with added grilled chicken, broccoli or served with a side salad.

Fettuccine:
4 oz cream cheese
2 tbs butter
1/2 c parmesan cheese
1/2 c milk
garlic salt 
parsley flakes
1 box noodles of choice 
Optional:
-parmesan crusted chicken
-broccoli

Melt everything together on stove top, stirring consistently to avoid burning. Cook favorite style of noodles. Keep sauce on low until it becomes thick and smooth. Pour sauce over noodles and serve.
