Oreo Cheesecake Shooters

In order to throw the perfect Tea Party, you MUST have the perfect finger food! For this Tea Party inspired dessert, I decided to take one of my favorite Oreo cheesecake recipes and build it into mini, individual clear shooter cups. The size, texture, and flavor were delicious and were perfect for a Tea Party! The thing I love the most about this recipe is that this cheesecake is a no bake cheesecake! Perfect for a hot summer day when you don't want to turn on the oven.

Early in July, I collaborate with Lyndsie, Alanna, and Natalie over at Two Sisters and a Story to create the perfect Tea Party! From fresh picked flowers, to gorgeous china dishes, delicious finger food, and wonderful company, this tea party was fit for a queen! The girls at Two Sisters and a Story are darling and I had so much fun working with them. We teamed up to bring you the perfect Tea Party and I love how it turned out! The girls decorated and set up the most beautiful table. Combining their talents of creativity, gardening, and designing, the Tea Party table set was absolutely magical. I had so much fun putting together the Tea Party Menu. The theme for this Tea Party was no bake recipes and finger food. Each recipe is unique and delicious, we all loved them! All of the recipes can be found right here at My Own Meal Plan! The full menu as well as each recipe can be found by following these attachments!

The cups that I used for this recipe were absolutely perfect! They held just under 4 ounces, and came with a package of adorable mini sliver spoons that made eating these cheesecakes so fun! I found the cup and spoon combination at my local Smith's in their party section! I also found some similar on amazon Clear Plastic Mini Square Cups With Tasting Spoon. You can use anything you find that is similar and it will work for this recipe! Just try and find something that holds around 4 ounces. Also, this recipe doubles really well. If you need more than 8 for your event, you can double it and divide them up into their cups and it'll work perfect!

Oreo Cheesecake Shooters
Yields: 8 mini cups

1 8 ounce cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
12 Oreos
4 tablespoons melted butter
8 small plastic shooter cups

In a food processor, grind Oreos down to crumbs. Reserve 1/4 cup for later. Mix remaining Oreo crumbs in melted butter and press firmly into the bottom of each cup forming a thick 1/4 inch layer of crust.

Mix together cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

Whip whipping cream with vanilla and sugar and fold 1/2 cup into cream cheese mixture. Reserve the extra 1/2 cup for topping.

Cool in the fridge. Top with remaining whipping cream and additional crushed Oreos. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
