Zoodle Spaghetti with Tomato Meat Sauce

Love pasta but hate the heavy carbs from the noodles? Try Zoodles! Zoodles are zucchini noodles! They are low carb, healthy, and delicious! I love them because I can still enjoy delicious pasta sauces and not have the guilty feeling after! This Tomato Meat Sauce is seriously my favorite Meat Sauce! It's easy to throw together, and it tastes amazing! I have an awesome spiralizing attachment that makes the noodles for me! I'll tell you about it below! Make this yummy Zoodle Spaghetti with Tomato Meat Sauce with me!

The health benefits of eating Zucchini Noodles versus regular noodles are very good! A few of the benefits are as follows:
  • only 30–40 calories.
  • 7 grams carbs
  • 2 grams protein
  • 2 grams fiber
  • 3 milligrams vitamin C (56 percent DV)
  • 4 milligrams vitamin B6 (21 percent DV)
  • 3 milligrams manganese (17 percent DV)
  • 3 milligrams riboflavin (16 percent DV)

Not saying that regular noodles are terrible for you! They aren't! I love noodles, regular and whole wheat, and in moderation, they are okay to eat! This is just another great option for noodles that you may have never tried before!

Here is the link to the KitchenAid Spiralizer attachment I have on Amazon! I have zero complaints about this attachment! I love how easy it is to install, to change out the peels, and to clean! I love it! If you want to shop this same model, you can do so clicking the image and it will take you directly to Amazon!

Of course, if you don't have a KitchenAid or you don't want to make your own zoodles, you can purchase them already spiralized at the grocery store! They are a little bit pricey, but they are super delicious! You can try them first before purchasing a spiralizer if you would like!

For the Zoodles
3-4 medium sized zucchinis
KitchenAid Spiralizer Attachment with Peel, Core and Slice

Wash and prepare zucchini by removing the ends. Slice each zucchini in half. Place the noodle attachment onto the spiralizer. Hook half of the zucchini into the attachment and line up the core. Turn the kitchenaid on, and watch the attachment do all of the work!

Before serving, place zoodles in a skillet with a 1/2 cup of water and turn it to medium high heat. Place a lid over the skillet and allow the water to come to a boil, steaming the noodles. Steam for 4-5 minutes. Serve.
